2024 Concerts

Daytime Performances (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)

Friends, family, and members of the public are encouraged to come watch and listen to the day time festival performances! There will be 1-day and 3-day access passes for KCT performances available to purchase on the KCT box office website as well as in the lobby. Prices: 1-day pass: $6; 3-day pass: $10. Festival participants get in free.

Entrance to The Rotary Centre daytime performances (Jazz Combos) will be by donation at the venue (suggested donation: $2 to $5).

Thursday Night Jazz Jam:

We will be hosting another Thursday night Jazz Jam! The Jazz Jam (hosted by Stephen Buck and Craig Thomson) will start at 5pm and will feature students and adults of all ages jamming together on jazz standards. Bring your instrument and play or listen and witness the jazz community and collaboration at its finest. Real books and rhythm section instruments will be supplied. Entry by donation!

Friday Night 45th Annual Jazz Artists' Showcase Concert: 

Presenting the 45th annual BC Interior Jazz Festival Jazz Artists' Showcase Concert! This high-level concert showcases the amazing trumpet stylings of Brad Turner, this year’s featured artist and one of Canada’s most esteemed musicians. The concert will also include small group performances from the festival's adjudicators: Dave Robbins, Dennis Esson, Michael Perkins, Bob Rogers, Mike Rud, Emily Denison, and Kinga Heming. The ever-popular Festival Big Band will take the stage for the second half of the show, and will be directed by our Artistic Director, musician and music educator Craig Thomson.  Tickets available at Kelowna Community Theatre Box office.

Student Showcase Concert:

Presenting the 45th annual BC Interior Jazz Festival Student Showcase Concert! This performance celebrates and showcases the outstanding student jazz bands, combos, and vocal groups from all performance categories in the festival. There will also be a short award ceremony honouring the festival's most outstanding student musicians. Come support the students and the festival! 7:00pm April 20th, 2024 at the Kelowna Community Theatre. 

Festival participants get in free. General tickets are $14 can be purchased online at www.Theatre.Kelowna.ca or by phone at 250-469-8940 through the KCT ticket booking office or in person at the doors.
