2026 Concerts
Daytime Performances (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)
Jazz Band and Vocal Adjudicated Performances at the Kelowna Community Theatre: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Performances are scheduled every 25 minutes with breaks for lunch. Participants receive a post performance analysis and coaching from an adjudicator. The Public is welcome to watch all daily adjudicated performances.
Day Passes for KCT performances available to purchase on the KCT box office website as well as in the lobby and are $10 (plus tax and service charges). Festival participants get in free. A schedule of all group performances will be posted in 'Schedules'.
Combo Adjudicated Performances at the Rotary Centre for the Arts: Thursday only. Performances are scheduled every 25 minutes with breaks for lunch. Participants receive a post-performance analysis and coaching from an adjudicator.
Entrance to RCA daytime performances will be by donation at the venue (suggested donation: $2 to $5). A schedule of all group performances will be posted in 'Schedules'.
Music Workshops/Clinics: Friday at the RCA in the Sun FM Dance Studio. Clinics from all the festival adjudicators, including our Featured Artist, Steve Kaldestad, will be presented. Come learn from some of Canada’s greatest jazz musicians!
Workshops are free and the public is invited to attend. Schedule will be posted in 'Schedules'.

Thursday Night Jazz Jam:
The Jazz Jam (hosted by Stephen Buck and Craig Thomson) will start at 5:00 pm and will feature students and adults of all ages jamming together on jazz standards. Bring your instrument to play or listen, and witness the jazz community’s collaboration at its finest. You can even take in the music while enjoying a delicious meal at Roma Nord Bistro. Real books and rhythm section instruments will be supplied. Entry by donation.

Thursday Evening Concert: The Jazz Implication
We are excited to announce that Thursday night concerts are back! After an extended hiatus, we are returning to holding a professional concert after the festival's Jazz Jam session. For out-of-town participants here on Thursday night, this provides a great activity for your group. The Jazz Implication is sure to entertain, and the venue is a smaller one than our community theatre, providing a more intimate listening experience. Local teachers, please advertise to your students, and we hope to see you there! Tickets are limited with a venue capacity of 120 including the band and staff! Presenting the 47th annual BC Interior Jazz Festival Student Showcase Concert! This performance celebrates and showcases the outstanding student jazz bands, combos, and vocal groups from all performance categories in the festival. Come support the students and the festival! 7:00pm Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at the Kelowna Community Theatre.
