The BC Interior Jazz Festival began 46 years ago, under the direction of the late Johnny Deschner, Robin Jarman, and Dr. Doug Graham. The half day festival quickly grew to a day and a half, then two full days. The Festival became a three day event when vocal jazz was added in 1999. The BC Interior Jazz Festival is organized and operated by volunteers and has extraordinary community support.
